Russia. Saint-Petersburg. The necropolis of masters of arts. politician and lawyer. From 1808-closest Adviser of Alexander I, the author of liberal reforms; in 1812 exiled to Nizhny Novgorod, was later Governor of Penza and Siberia. After returning to St. Petersburg was the codification of laws, resulting in 45-volume complete collection of laws and the 15-volume Encyclopaedia of the laws of the Russian Empire. On the thought of Speranskogo in the Tsarskoye Selo Lyceum was founded in 1811, where he studied A.s.pushkin. Granite sarcophagus with bronze cross. The architect Alexander Briullov, 1839.
