Russia. Saint-Petersburg. Literatorskie footbridge. Benoit Leonty Nikolayevich-architect, a distinguished Russian architect. (23), was born 11 August 1856 in Peterhof. In St. Petersburg under Leon Benois project was built around 40 buildings, including the Velikoknâžeskaâ Tomb, the mother of God Church, Lurdskoj Chapel, Benois Russian Museum. 

Participated in many Gallery of interiors and external appearance of the buildings of Saint Petersburg (Hermitage Theatre foyer, 1904; the White Hall of the Mariinsky Palace, 1907-1908; the facade of the Finnish Church, late 19th c.); the construction of the princely Tomb in the Peter and Paul Fortress (1896-1908, D. I. Grimm). 

Benoit died on February 8, 1928 in St. Petersburg, buried at Volkovskogo cemetery Literatorskih mostkah.
